Paper jam

Switch the printer off before you reach inside. Pull the sheet slowly with both hands, in the direction the paper was already travelling, and never backwards. Then check the rear door and the duplex tray as well, because the piece you can see often isn't the whole sheet and a torn scrap left behind causes the next three jams. The screen usually names the area, which saves you opening everything.
