Banding in photos

Faint horizontal bands showing up in photographs but not in text are usually an alignment problem rather than a blocked nozzle. Run printhead alignment from the maintenance menu and let it finish, which takes a sheet or two. Paper matters here more than people expect: photo settings on plain paper produce banding that no alignment will fix.
